Oates Veterinary Clinic, Inc. has been proud to serve the Kenton, Ohio area since 1971. Our hospital is run by licensed, experienced veterinarians and veterinary technicians plus many support staff.
We are proud of the compassion and commitment that we offer to central Ohio families and their pets. We all have pets ourselves and think of how we would like to be treated especially if our babies were ill or injured. We do our best to accommodate your schedule and financial restrictions. We also discuss all options of care and help you to understand what is happening and what we need you to do at home to help in your pet's care.
Our team is committed to client education because we want families to understand how to keep their pets happy and healthy all year round. We want you to think of us as your credible resource for veterinary information. We can explain topics ranging from nutrition and preventative vaccines to surgical procedures and the importance of bloodwork. We also are here for you as your pet approaches their golden years and starts to have issues such as arthritis and organ issues like kidney or liver disease. We love your furry babies as if they are our own and want the best care for them and for you.
The entire staff is committed to professional growth and learning throughout the year. We enjoy researching cases and are committed to finding the right answers to challenging problems. By having three doctors in one practice we have the advantage of having a 2nd and 3rd opinion on site.
Occasionally we need to seek a second opinion from a specialist and we work closely with facilities such as MedVet Columbus and The Ohio State University branch in Dublin. They consult with us immediately after our patients have been examined, and we are well involved in the continuing care and management of these cases.
Please call us if you have any questions or would like to schedule a tour of our facility. We would love to meet you and your furry babies!
